9-7-07 Devil's Den

at 1:50 I dive into the devil's den from pipes creek road. only to find the rain water to be a little height. knowing from other times there than the water most be going from 2" and as deep 8 feet. So driving out to me my favorite please The Rock Garden is no longer on my list. So I win back to the road and tried going in by timber hill. The one near the apartments. there was some good mud to go throw before getting to the one deep dip the trial that is about 7-feet. My jeep handled the slop better than I that. So as I kept going down the trial. Bt this trial is allot more harder than I reminder it ever being. If a had my Isuzu rodeo (w/ 2" lift & 31" tires) & knowing what she can do. I may have gone all to way in to the mud pit. But this being my frost off-road trip with this jeep and not knowing her limits. I turned around and headed out. I also tried the road some people dump trash. This trial had a big hole full of water at least 12" deep what a surprises to me! a little farther I went to a dead end.
